Biography
Grant joined Athletic in June 1972, but would only last until September before he was released.
Manager Bill Coldwell said said he hadn't "fitted in as well as I had hoped", and had suffered from injury problems during his time at the club.
Grant was perhaps most noteworthy for being Brian Clough's first signing as Hartlepool manager.
